In a document from my great grandmother from 1975, she listed her grandfather had immigrated to America from County Roscommon, Ireland  Rockledge. The names were Thomas Feeney and she wrote he was a school master. He was married to Kathryn/Catherine Connor/Conrad. They arrived in the USA during the potato famine before 1845.

I'm trying to find any information. I strongly believe they were Catholic.

    Hi there,

it could be: Rock, Rockhill, Rockland, Rockville or something completely different. I can't find him or that School Name on an 1826 Directory  but that may be a littel too early. I don't find the marriage record and agin it may be too early. I find only one possible marriage record but that is to a Margaret Connor (more likely Connor than Conrad). It might help to understand a little more about the family in the US and search those sources before searching Irish records further.

    regards
