His brother, Patrick T. Welsh, m. Margaret Moran. He emigrated 1863 to America from Claremorris.
Their father was Michael Welsh, m. Bridget Mullins (daughter of Peter Mullins & Julia Malloy). I believe they lived in Claremorris.
His father was Martin Welsh, m. Hannah Cunningham.
