I am looking in Waterford for Charles Deane, b1838 + or -, daughter Millicent Albertina Deane b1868 and Sarah Deane - no dates but around this time.
Millicent was married in Portsea England in 1887. On all the census she says she was born in Waterford, Ireland. I have her marriage certificate and the birth certificate of her son William.
Sarah I can't seem to find anywhere but I do have her daughter Winifred's birth certificate.
The confusing part is on each birth certificate of the children William and Winifred these two women had the same husband but Millicent was the one married to the father which claims it on their marriage certificate. Therefore my grandmother Winifred aways thought that her brother and her had the same mother Millicent who died of TB at the age of 23. My grandmother's mother was Sarah.
These two children were brought up in an orphanage in England.

A quick search under the surname search of Deane on the above website link only has one listing for the mid 19th century. This may have relevance to you.You could try checking the land records called the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38) http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/home.jsp or the later Griffith's Valuation (1848-64) http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/ or the Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS) https://familysearch.org/
The Tithe Applotment List might be of use to you, or at least interesting for you. These lists constitute the only nationwide survey for the period, and are valuable because the heaviest burden of the tithes to the Established Church, the Church of Ireland, fell on the poorest, for whom few other records survive.. For Parishes where the registers do not begin until after 1850, this information can be useful, as they are often the only surviving early records. They can provide valuable circumstantial evidence, especially where a holding passed from father to son in the period between the Tithe survey and Griffith's Valuation.
It may be useful for you to check the UK archives if you have not already done so.
