There is a RICHARD MAHON listed in the Griffiths Evaluation of 1841 living in Coolagh, County Galway, Ireland. My Great Great Grandfather was named Richard Mahon and lived in Galway when my great grandmother, Richard's daughter, came to the USA in the 1840-1850 era. If anyone is willing to research this Richard Mahon and determine the names of his family members, I would be very greatful. RICHARD MAHON married to BRIDGET KENNEY. He may have had a prior marriage too. Their children were: BRIDGET MAHON b. 1838; MARY MAHON b. 1845; SABINA MAHON b. 1846; JAMES MAHON b. 1855 and MICHAEL MAHON b. 1858.
