Looking for any information on the origins or wider families of my ancestors: William Barriskill (born cir 1810 in Ireland) and Helen McCoul (AKA McHoul, born Cir 1816-1867 in Ireland).
William Barriskill was recorded as a dyer, engineer's labourer and farm labourer and died before 1871, probably in Scotland. His wife Helen McCoul died 16 Dec 1867 in New Vennel, Glasgow.
Their known children were: Elisabeth Barriskill (born cir 1833 Ireland-1871 Govan, Glasgow), William Barriskill (born cir 1841 Ireland-1906 Govan, Glasgow) and Robert Barriskill (born cir 1843 Ireland-1912 Govan, Glasgow). More information on my website.
