Please could anyone give me some information about the Kearns family from Ballinasloe. My Grandfather was Thomas Joseph, his siblings were Michael,Dennis, Jane and Mary. The parents were Rose and James Kearns of the Grange in Ballinasloe. We think that Rose,Jane and one other Sibling died in 1918/19 from the flu epidemic. As we have no contact with any of the others since my Grandfathers death in 1942 in Rotherham , South Yorkshire. We don't know what happened to Michael and Dennis after this time as we can only assume they left the area. We do know that Mary emigrated to the USA in 1929 the year of my mothers birth. My mothers name was Rosemary Kearns and her siblings were James Eugene and Kevin.
I would really like to know any of this information.

I've been searching the Irish Census records for my own Kearns ancestoers ( from Gort so don't think that we're related.
Remember seeing your family in the irish 1911 census records. Know that this doesn't help you find out what happened to them afterwards but as I've seen the census return thought that I'd let you know just in case you hadN't seen them.
