Am interested in connecting up with McManus relations from Mullaghmacormack, Roosky or area as well as the Gaffney family of Drumonmore and Knockhall. My great grandmother was Elizabeth McManus.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your message, I hope that some relatives make a connection with you.
In the meantime, do you have any other information that you can share? Remember to post as much information as you can .The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you.
Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.
Kind regards,

My great grandmother was Elizabeth Ann McManus or M'Manus the daughter of Peter McManus and Esther Gaffney. Peter and Esther has several children including James, Margaret, Bridget, Annie, Julia, Patrick, Peter, Mary Katherine and Elizabeth.
They lived and farmed in the townland of Mullaghmacormick and appeared in part in the 1901 census.Esther and Peter were married in 1864. She was from Knockhall the daughter of Edward and Madge Conway or so it is said. Peter is the son of James and Margaret Oates who I believe are listed on the Griffiths Valuation.
Many of the siblings travelled and settled in Providence, Rhode Island and then on to Worcester in my great grandmother's case after her marriage.
Wondering about death dates and information about Esther's siblings and parents
Confirmed death date for James McManus
Marriage date of Julia who was still living on the farm in 1911 and according to a letter married a George Cuffe.
I am also interested in connecting the with Children of James McManus and Catherine Kelliher who may have went to Australia.
