Hello

I am looking for information on my great grandmothers parents . Her name was Ann Bradley and she married James Mulvany in 1872 in Eldon , Iowa. Her daughter told me years ago that Ann was from County Kerry. On Anns death Certificate her parents are listed as Edward Bradley and Annie O Connell.  In Eldon ,Iowa 1880 Ann and her family are living next door to a James Bradley , he is older by about 15 years than she, he is listed as a groceryman. I do not know if the two are related.

On the Kerry Board Martine provided the Griffiths for 1845 for Dromod with an Edward Bradley- Tenant James Butter -Landlord.

Happy Saint Patricks Day to you all.

If you can order a copy of the marriage certificate from the church as they usually have parents names and place of Birth on it, the reason is I couldn't find an Ann or Anna Bradley with those parents names, I wondered if she may have been born in Derry also check www.familysearch.org this is the website for transcribed church records

    Hope this helpsMaureen NZ

  • Hello

Yes that is the marriage in Iowa. I have Ann Bradley Mulvanys death certificate and her parents are listed as Edward Bradley and Annie O connell. I beleive they were in the Waterville area. Her grandaughter said she was from Kerry but didnt know the town. There are three Bradley men in Griffiths 1852 in that  area , One is an Edward Bradley. I have looked at online church records and havent found those specific names , but there are lots of O connells and Bradleys there.

    Thanks for looking!
