I am researching the Family of my my 4 x Great GrandFather John Johnstone born 1783, d 1868.
John Johnston was married to Catherine and resided at Creggan, Raphoe. He is listed on the Griffiths Valuation in that Townland, in 1858.
John Johnstone had a son William Johnstone born abt 1810.
William Johnstone Married Anne Croane 31st Jan 1839 at Raphoe Presbyterian Church.
William Johnstone and Anne Croane had a son called John Johnstone born 7th Dec 1839 Residence is listed as Creggan Mountain Raphoe.
John Johnson Married Leticia Killen 11 Nov 1869 at Carone Parish, Raphoe.
Children
Jane Johnstone b 7th April 1874 Raphoe, Donegal. Married Thomas Mullen, Glasgow.
David Johnstone b 19 June 1876 Raphoe Donegal. Died 1942
William Johnstone b, 27th Feb 1872 Raphoe Donegal.
Mary Ann Johnstone b, 3rd Aug 1870 Raphoe, Donegal. Married John Bell

Hmm, where do I begin.
My father owns the Farm you mentioned that was listed in Griffiths valuation, The Dwelling house is still standing as are the byres and stables. the dwelling house was raised in the 1930's to make an upstairs.
