William Fagan and Bridget McNally were my grgrgrandparents who had at least two sons. The elder son was Patrick born abt 1829 who married Mary Ann Brennan on 10 July 1861 in Trim. Their second child Patrick was born at Robinstown abt 11 Mar 1864. Patrick and Mary Ann immigrated to Queensland, Australia around 1882 with at least 12 of their children.
William Fagan and Bridget McNally's second son Laurence was born abt 1839. He came to Australia in 1863 and married Fanny Cruise.
I would like to discover which Parish and in which church William Fagan and Bridget McNally may have been married around 1828, or any other information that could lead me to the Townland where they may have lived.
There was a Jane Fagan who was baptized at Dunderry on 15 April 1839 who may have married a Patrick Sherlock. Another child may be a Richard Fagan who was baptized at Dunderry on 12 Sep 1841, but that is all I know of him.
The Fagans were a family of carpenters when they lived in Queensland, so I am speculating that William Fagan would also have been a carpenter.
Thank you to anyone who may know something of this Fagan family.

Marie:
The Griffiths Valuation survey was conducted in Co. Meath in 1855. I found two William Fagan records in the town of Trim so likely that is where they were married and lived. Not sure whether they were RC or Church of Ireland but there are two St. Patrick Churches in Trim. Possibly they were married in one of those churches.

Hello Roger
Thank you for your reply and those links. I wasn't sure if either one of those William Fagans could be mine. My Fagans were RC, so I will have to find out how to go about accessing the records for St. Patrick's Church in Church Street. I have previously obtained the church marriage record for Patrick and Mary Anne Brennan of 10 Jul 1861 from Irish Family History Foundation, but haven't had any luck in finding the marriage of his father William and mother Bridget McNally. Neither have I been able to find a baptism for my grgrandfather Laurence on IFHF website.
Thank you once again for your reply and advice. It was very much appreciated.

Hi Marie
Another source of information is Patrick Keely's book A History of Dunderry. It includes the 1821 census for the area.
There is a William Fegan listed as 24 years old in 1821 and he is a carpenter with his father James Fegan, a 30 acre farmer. Fegan and Fagan were often interchanged with relatives of mine registered with both.
In a seperate Fagan house in the same townland, Richard McNally is listed as a labourer. Send on your email address and I will forward the clip from the page. My email address is frankgfagan@gmail.com.
It is possible the particular house is that of Patrick Fagan shown on the Griffiths Valuation in 1854. www.askaboutireland.com.

My Great Great Grandmother was Bridget Fagan, married Michael Leonard at Dunderry, County Meath. circa 1855. Would love to know more about both their families. They had children: Christopher (my GGF) Anne; Patrick, Mary, John, James, Michael and Rose Anne. Christopher born 1863 m. Julia Caffrey; Anne - no further mention after Baptism; Patrick m. Jane Connor; Mary m. Jack Brady; John b. 1872, may have emigrated to USA, had something to do with Polo Ponies?: James m. Annie Kane; Michael, don't know anything about; and Rose Anne who married John Garry from Navan. If any of the above names mean anything, I would love to hear from you.
