First of all, please be aware that it may be difficult to find records that go back that far as the reality of finding documentation pertaining to births/baptisms/marriages/deaths in Ireland prior to 1800 ? particularly in rural areas ? is that they simply may not exist.

Secondly,do you have any more information on Timothy that you can share? Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching. I am also looking for Learys to Newfoundland and I have a Timothy born in Newfoundland but very much later but there could be a connection? I have a Matthew Leary married to a Agnes Foley date unknown they had a son John Leary b.1865 my GGGrandfather and was father to a Timothy brother of Charles my Grandfather (all in Newfoundland).
