Myles & Jane Layng's marriage & children

Hej-Hej, I am looking for information on my mother's relatives, Miles/Myles & Jane {Joynt/Joint} Layng/Laing, that came from Ireland to America in 1864. I recently was able to get the following information, thanx to one of your links:

{here are 3 other sources that had very limited information, about UK records}

one source says that Jane was born about 1816 {but gravestone indicated it could be as late as 1822}, died Jun 23 1887. Miles was born 1818 in Ireland, died Jun 5 1885.

Mabel F b. Feb 23, 1842 in Ballycastle, Co. Mayo, Ireland at the age of 17 according to obit she came to US first to Allegheny Co., PA where she married my Great grandfather Joseph Orr (from Gail Orr Erickson 12/07/1999

Other notes:

Christopher and Robert Lanyg are actually supposed to be brother's of John Miles Layng . Still question of the spelling of names. Mabel F. Layng ( Lang) said her father was born in Scotland and her mother Jane Joint was born In England . But she herself said she was born in Mayo Co., Ireland. Also rumor that Jane Joint was somehow related to Queen Mary Of the Scots.

yes this is the spelling of her name but prononced Lang.born Feb 23,1842.father John Miles Layng .Mother Jane Joint.she married Joseph Orr 23 feb 1869 in Pittsburg,Pa.Second marriage to James Frederick Affolter in Brooklyn,IA.need to find ancestors or descendents of her second marriage .Two children Charles and Elizabeth.We do knw that Charles moved to CA where his wife was murdered don't know city and elizabeth and her husband ? Mcfarland are buried in Cottage Grove,OR.

Does anyone have a Miles Lang in their family . Mabel F. Lang ( Layng big ? ) states on 1925 census her father was Miles Lang born in Scotland and her mother Jennie( Jane) Joynte born in England but Mabel herself was born in Ireland . Mabel married Joseph Orr in Allegheny Co., PA in 1869.Also have been told his name was John Miles Lang but not certain of this fact.
