  • Hi emma, I don't have a lot of information on the mckenna's. all I know is my g/father was james dob 1878,his father was also james and a brother francis dob 1887.they came from tyrone.I traced francis on the 1901 irish census by dob along with james snr,in 1911 census they were gone, but francis was in liverpool at that time saying he was born in longfield tyrone. He was living with a thomas mckenna from Oghilucartan fermanagh. My grandfather says on his marriage cert.he was at the same address and francis was his witness.I have nobody here in england to ask as i'm the older generation (70) so any help is really appreciated ,thank you again. peter mckenna
