I am researching the Mullally/Harpur family tree and have hit a brick wall. My grandparents Patrick Mullally and Mary Mullally nee Harpur lived in Enniscorthy. I believe that Patrick was born abt 1868. Mary was born abt 1877. I also believe Mary and her family came from the Glynn/Kilurin area. I have searched vital records and have determined that both Mullally and Harpur are spelt with a lot of differences, including Mulally, Mullaly, Lally, Molloy and Harper, Harpor. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

  • There are Books available in the Wexford Libraries listing the Old Graveyards in Wexford with headstones dating back to the 1700s. I will check the name of the Researcher.

I have been to the old Graveyard at the back of the Ballycarney Inn, in search of my Codd Ancesters.

  • Thank you Thomas.  I know there are Mullally's buried in the Castledockrell Cemetery as I visited it when I was home in Ireland some years ago.

I would be very interested in the name of the books and researcher.  thanks once again.  Helen
