My great grandfather was John Stephen Leehane, born in Horsham, Victoria, Australia in 1865.
I was wondering if anyone has researched his genealogy back to Ireland as I haven't been able to trace further back than this.
My father (his grandson), born in 1935, was named John Stephen Leehane Smith in his memory. My great uncle, Howard Leehane (his only son) was killed in WW1 in Belgium in 1917.
