My great, great grandfather, John Worthington was baptised at St Mary's (Old Dunleckney) Church (CoI) in 1791. In 1822 he brought his wife Mary Dagg(e) to Qu?bec, Canada with their two children, Edward Dagge W and Mary W.
I am trying to find information regarding his father John Worthington who was a shoemaker in Moneybeg according to the baptismal record. I have research done by my grandfather showing he was born about 1764 in Bagenalstown. My grandfather's records show he married Mary Delaney before 1791. I believe they had five children -- John (b. 1791), Francis (b.1792), Michael (b. 1793), Edward (b. 1974), and Catherine (b. 1795).
Can anyone help with information regarding John?
Regards, Bill Worthington
