My ancestor Michael McCormick appears to have been born in Longford County. He moved to Glossop England where his son Thomas was born around 1836. Michael married Mary Sullivan.who is also from Ireland. I do not know any more about Michael or Mary. Thomas married Fanny Ryder 8 April 1855 in Mottram-i,-Longendale, Cheshire, England.
Fanny Ryder was born in Longford County about 1837. Her father is Hugh Ryder.
Hugh born agout 1803 might have been residing in Ballymahon. If so his death would be in 1873.
I will be visiting Ireland in October, dates not yet definite as I will be on a month trip theough Ireland and England tracking my ancestors footsteps.
Any info or help would be greatly appreciated
