I am trying to find out more about my great grandmother Sarah Kerrigan and her family. Father Phillip, mother Mary. Who are their parents? Her baptism took place at St. Mary's, in Westport on 3rd of March 1872. There were seven or eight children in the family, Bridget, Austin, Ellen, Sarah, Edward,Martin and Mary. There was also an Annie but I cannot locate a baptismal record for her. Sarah and Annie went to Canada, Austin went to Scotland (family story - I have no info on him). Info on the rest of the family is unknown to me. The parents birthdates are unknown to me. First child born 1864 (Bridget).
Sorry, I should have included some of this info on the first edit of this message. Thank you.

Could you provide some additional information which may allow one of our volunteers to assist you? What is your great-grandmother's first name and when was she baptized?
I looked at the 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Oughaval civil parish which includes Westport. There were two Philip Kerrigans listed. Not sure if 1856 is too early for your family.

Looks like Philip and Mary married right before 1864 when civil registration started which is unfortunate since a civil record would show the names of the fathers of the bride and groom and where they were living.
Can I suggest that you go to www.familysearch.org and look for a birth index record for one of the children where you know the year. The birth would be recorded in the Westport registration district. Once you find a record, you can write to the GRO www.groireland.ie to get a copy of the record which will show where the family lived in Westport. Copies of birth records cost 4 euros.
