I found a birth index record for a Mary Travers in 1872 in the Manorhamilton registration district. There were also three 1871 births for a Mary Travers in the Manorhamilton registration district. I did not know how certain you were about 1872 so I wanted to mention the three 1871 records. If you want a copy of this record, you can contact the GRO www.groireland.ie fill out their form and provide the year, registration district and volume and page number ( 2 and 288). Costs around 4 euros.

By the way, the town of Manorhamilton is split between two civil parishes: Cloonclare and Killasnet.

Thank you for the prompt reply and parish information.  I believe I have seen the same birth indexes on the FS site and I am not positive of the birth year.   I don't know if the original record would give her parent's names.  I have located the church in Manhattan where I believe they married and hope they may have some documentation for me to nail down more information.  I look forward to the search!
