Children of this couple are Anthony, Michael, Mary, Thomas, Catherine and Helen. The child not found is Anastasia who emigrated to Victoria Australia and married Timothy Mahoney.

Anastasia said her father John was a schoolteacher and he did teach at Ballylanders where his youngest Helen Galahue was born.

Both timothy and Anastasia did have a McNamara as witness and sponsors so it's quite possible they knew each other in Ireland before meeting and marrying in Melbourne,
