I am looking for information about my maternal great-great-grandparents, all born in Sligo. Terence Foley married to Maria McSharry both born about 1820. I would also like information about George Hanney married to Catherine McMorrow both born around 1830, also in Sligo. Any iformation would be appreciated.

There are 6 baptism records of Maria McSharry Sligo 1820 + - 5 years on www.rootsireland.ie/
1816 1817 1821 (2) 1823 & 1824 The record will have the parish & MYBE the parents' names - some do / some don't. You need to purchase credit to view the full record.
I could not find her marriage to Terrence however or his birth/baptism
There is a baptism record of Catherine McMorrow 1835 Sligo
There is also a marriage record for her & George but it's 1839 which would make her a very young bride!
The only record for George Hanney Sligo is an 1855 baptism.

Just joined this site.......Sligo Message board/ Re. Terence Foley married Mariia McSharry both born Sligo/ birth years c1820. I have on my paternal side. Patrick Ward born c1800 married MARY MCSHARRY born c1800 (known children...John born c1833/Patrick born c1831 and daughter MARY WARD born c1830 married TERENCE FOLEY born c1830....all born Sligo. Parish for Terence Foley/Mary Ward was Calry..their children all born Sligo baptised St. John's parish church/RC. Wondering if any connection?
