Hi,

I'm trying to find infomation about my grandparents, Thomas Alcock (born Athy 1899) and Mary Carroll (born??) who married in Athy in 1921. The left Ireland to live in London, England (don't know when) until their respective deaths. They had 8 children, including my mum, Bridget Mary Alcock, born in 1925 when the family lived in Chapel Lane, Athy.

I would like to trace my family tree, but I'm stuck because I know so little about them. I'd particularly like to know the names on my great grandparents, as this would help me get started.

In information would be appreciated.

    There is a baptism record of Thomas Alcoc 1899 Kildare on www.rootsireland.ie/

    The parish is Athy R C. You need to purchase credit to view the full record but it MAY have the parents' names - some do / some don't.

    There are 3 matches for Mary Carroll born 1899 + - 5 years in Kildare

    There is no marriage record as rootsireland only goes to 1920 I think
