HUGH & JANE ALEXANDER CRAIG
I am researching my CRAIG FAMILY history/ my CRAIG FAMILY genealogy/ and my CRAIG FAMILY tree…My research is presently missing the PARENTS & SIBLINGS of my 5th GREAT GRANDPARENTS, HUGH CRAIG (1718 – 1804) & JANE ALEXANDER CRAIG (1722 – 1810)…This family included their 3 sons , Alexander Craig , James Craig & John Craig …All family members came to the United States of America around 1750…They settled in North & South Carolina. Hugh and Jane died in Rowan, North Carolina…I need as much information as is available on their lives while living in
Grey Abby , Down, Ireland.
Sincerely
Nancy Craig Solt

Hi Nancy,
Thanks for your message. Unfortunately it may be difficult to find information given the early dates you mention as the reality of finding documentation pertaining to births/baptisms/marriages/deaths in Ireland prior to 1800 ? particularly in rural areas ? is that they simply may not exist. It may be an idea to contact the Ulster Historical Foundation, however please note that a fee may apply.
Kind regards,
