Earliest records for the Church of Ireland in Greyabbey begin in 1807 while those for the corresponding Roman Catholic Parish of Ballywalter, begin in 1828. As this is the case, there will be no church records for this family as you say they emigrated in 1760. I would suggest you search the Historic Graves website for any mention of the Craig family, in lieu of parish records; you may be able to piece together some family history in relation to Hugh?s parents from that source.
