Looking for family of John & Margaret Feehan who had a son John Joseph Feehan born in 1871. He came to the United States around 1892, married Elizabeth Mahon and had two children. He died in 1898 and at that time his parents were deceased. Trying to find out if he had any siblings.

I do not have any other information. From the immigration papers, it states his last place of residence was Cork. It also had his birth year as possibly 1868 as the age he arrived said 24. Thanks for responding.

I found an 1868 birth index record for a John Feheen in the Kanturk registration district and an 1868 record for a John Feen in the Clonakilty registration district. Let me know if you want the specifics.

Index records do not show the parents names. They only show where the birth record is recorded. You have to rite to the General Register Office to get a copy for around 4 euros. I also located an 1868 baptismal record (at the bottom of this comment) for a John Feehane. Not sure if this is third person or the baptism record for one of the other two.

thank you for the info but the only thing I am sure of. Is the mothers first name is Margaret. If you locate anything else I would love to hear about it. Funny how the last names change spellings.
