Hi i am researching my family Kerr and Bell,my great grandparents Thomas Kerr a carpenter of Caheney and Jane Bell a seamstress of Mullamore, marriage cert states they where married in 1879 at rc church MULLAHINCH...i want to visit this church to find more on both famlies...his father Peter and her father William...what is the name and address for this church,and would i need to make an appointment....many thanks D

I am not familiar with exactly where the church is. However the marriage took place in the RC parish of Coleraine and so I would contact one of the priests to find out where the records are kept.

I would not turn up at the church without an appointment, (Chances are the older records aren?t kept there anyway, but most priests are very busy and an appointment is essential.). Be aware that most parishes get a lot of genealogical enquiries and not all have the resources to respond to them.
There are copies of some of the parish?s records in PRONI, Belfast and in the National Library in Dublin.
