If anyone knows of the regulations regarding registering for a marriage in an RC church in Wexford could you please help? did the people registering for the marriage have to live in the parish? and did they have to leave a date of birth? if a wedding certificate stated that the man was a widower would he have to prove it by producing a death certificate of his deceased wife? We know that banns had to be read by the priest on a sunday but other than that we know nothing so any help would be appreciated.
