The 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Elphin civil parish shows a number of Flanagan entries plus four McNeil entries. Can you give us more spcifics regarding who you are looking for?

Hi Roger, thanks for your message.  I was hoping to find more info on Edward Flanagan bcirca 1820 and his wife Elenora O'Neil in Roscommon.  He was father to my husbands g,g grandfather Patrick Flanagan b circa 1843 Roscommon? who married Catherine McNeil who was born in Raheen, Elphin circa 1841and married in 1864 in Elphin.  I think the following may be his birth details;

I looked at the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Elphin parish and there was no Edward Flanagan listed and the McNeils listed did not live in Raheen. ( I noticed that one of the sponsors of the baptism was Michael Flanagan and there are two Michael Flanagans listed).
