Hi, I'm searching the Pepper line from Wexford. In 1817 my 4th great uncle Robert Pepper who married Jane Giff, came to Canada in 1817 with their family and Roberts brother John Pepper (my Grandfather). I know that they fought in the Rebellion of 1798. Robert was born in 1775 and John about 1778. This is all that I know. Hoping someone can help me Sherri

Hi Sherri
The earliest Pepper birth/baptism records on www.rootsireland.ie/ are in the 1800's I'm afraid.

There are 5 of them with 3 from Enniscorthy RC parish and 2 from Bunclody C of I.
The Tithe Applotments 1823-37 (free online) have 5 Peppers in Wexford.
There are 7 Peppers in the Irish phone book (free online) - I wonder if it would be an idea to drop them a line?
