Looking for parents of Dennis Driscoll ( or Driskell ) born Co. Cork 1809 +/- 2 years. He was my great grandfather. I don't know which parish. Dennis's father was John Driskell but I don't know his wife's name. Dennis was married 3 times and died in Birmingham, England, in 1889. Can anybody help? My name is Frances.f

www.irishgenealogy.ie has a good number of baptismal and marriage records for Co. Cork. If you search for Denis Driscoll in 1808 and 1811, you will find a Denis Driscoll baptismal record, father John in both years. The 1811 is in Latin as Dionysius. Not sure if either is your ancestor but I wanted to make you aware of the records.
