Can you clarify the years of birth above for me - should they read 1835 and 1833 given that you say they married before emigrating to the USA in 1855?

Hi Clare,

I was mistaken on the immigration year with my other 2nd gr.grandparents. It is unknown when John and Mary emigrated but it is believed they were first married. Their first child my gr.grandfather John Madden was born in Hackensack ,NJ on 24 Feb, 1867. 

The birth years are correct  based on multiple census data John -1845 and Mary -Nov.1843

Mary's maiden name is listed 3 different ways on the birth records of her 4 children - Magee 2x, McGee and McGey
