Looking for family lines Moore and McInerey of Rathkeale. John B.Moore was born 1870 in Rathkeale#1 to Patrick Moore, son John Moore and Margaret Burns.

The family moved to the USA New York in 1874 on the USS City of Paris.

Any help would be great

    I was looking for a marriage of Patrick Moore and Margaret Burns with no success. The only record I found was this 1868 civil marriage index record for a Patrick Moore. Then I noticed the name McInerney in your note and figured this must be the correct record. I guess you were saying that Patrick's parents were John Moore and Margaret Burns.

    You can geta copy of the marriage record from the General Register Office for around 4 euros. It will show the names of the fathers of the bride and groom and where they were living in 1868. If you plan to get a copy let me know and I will forward instructions.

    I also looked at the 1850 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Rathkeale. There was a John Moore and a Michael Mcenery living in the English Tenements of Rathkeale.
