Research Butler/Lenihan Family

Have you tried looking on irishgenealogy.ie for church records for these couples, it is a free site. As your search is quite early though, it may be the case that your ancestors married in a place and at a time that predates the parish records. 

There are a few Patrick Butler entries listed on Griffith's Valuation (1847-1864):

Lorraine:

Any chance anyone from the Lenihan/Quinlan family ended up in the Washington, DC area?  My O'Connors married into the Lenihan clan, most of whom emigrated appear to have ended up in Lowell, Mass.  There are connections to the Cahills, and I have a Jeremiah O'Connor (b. 1796) living in Washington, DC in 1880 with his daughter Johannah Quinlan, married to Morris W, b. abt 1849.
