One set of my great-grandparents were William Davies and his wife Jane (n?e Flynn), daughter of  Edward and Mary.   William and Jane were both born in Cork about 1832 and migrated to London - as did at least Jane's parents.  They married on 30.4.1854 at St Mary's Chapel, Bloomfield, City of London and had at least six sons, but no further records of them have been found after the 1881 census.

William may have been the William Thomas Davies who was baptised at Cork's St Mary and St Anne's pro-cathedral on 2nd November 1831.  If so, his parents would have been John Davies and his wife Mary (n?e Paton).

Any further information on either family would be much appreciated.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the delay in getting back to you!

Is there no reference to William?s parents? names on his marriage cert?

    Best wishes
