I shall send this to my sister Karen who is our researcher in chief.
Her research confirms the Beary/Barry link.
It has Patrick (Ardfinnan) as the father of James, but do not anything before that.
She has been in touch with those on the Keane side of the family but I do not think she had the Gladstone St address in Clonmel.

Anything else you have, or any suggestions for going back before Patrick would help.I am based
in Clonmel at present so could follow up on any leads suggested.

Hi Tom,

I will unfortunately have to reschedule our meeting.
I have been informed that must collect my elder son's Leaving Certificate results from Rockwell College, Cashel at 1100 hrs tomorrow, and have to be there again to collect my second son who will finish his training with the Munster U18 schools squad at 1230 hrs.
Time would be too short to get up to you and back in between.
May I contact you next week to reschedule when I have a clearer idea of my movements?
