One of my maternal great great grandparents was Becher Hungerford. He was born on 17th March 1822 in Burren, County Cork to Richard Hungerford and his first cousin Jane Hungerford. Becher married Lucinda Sarah Norcott at Kilnegross, County Cork on 4th June 1844. He and Lucinda and their son William Boyle Hungerford migrated to Australia aboard the "Champion of the Seas", departing from Liverpool on 11th October 1854 and arriving in Melbourne on 23rd December 1854.

I have part of a geneology for Becher Hungerford but some of it makes no sense with the generational dates. If anyone has done a geneology for Becher Hungerford that would be great.

William Boyle Hungerford was born at Clonakilty, County Cork on 16th March 1849. William married Florence Emelia Lamb in New South Wales on 30th April 1894. They had 4 children, including my maternal grandmother Marjorie Huens Lamb Hungerford.

Did the link from the poster in the previous message lead to anything? There are ony a few Hungerford records on rootsireland.ie, might be worth a look as well as irishgenealogy.ie
