Hanna

Hi, I'm Katelyn.

I'm researching my great grandfather David Hanna who was an orphan in Nazareth Lodge (as seen in 1911 census when he is listed as six years old). The family have always said he was born on March 14th, 1905 although I have no records to prove this. Again, the family say his mother was called Rose Hanna, but I have no records to prove this either. I've been in contact with Nazareth Lodge Archivists but they are a bit overrun and have yet to send me any information. I would love to know more about him and where he came from. I think he attended St Patricks Industrial School as a teenager. I believe he had his first confession in St. Paul's Parish? He founded Hanna Hat's in Donegal Town later in life and died in 1985.
