Does any one know or have any information on the Cotterill/Cottrill family who worked on the Dunsany Castle estate or lived , may still live, in Dunsany?   I am still searching for information about my Grandmother Kathleen Kearns ( born Ferns about 1898)  Her sister married a Cotterill/Cottrill.

    As a starting point have you already looked at the 1901 and 1911 Census?

    I wonder if you contacted the Estate could they tell you if they had deposited the family papers/archive in the county archives/elsewhere. There may be mention of employees/staff of the Estate in any papers; a long shot, but you never know!

    Thank you for your reply. I have managed to gather some information about extended family.  I find that Tommy, Harry, Greta and Nancy were my fathers cousins.  Are they in your family tree?
