Looking for info on Samuel Davey (a stonemason) born abt 1820 and wife, Agnes Cowan. Parents to Edward, William and John Alex' (born Oct 1867, Kilroot).

The 1862 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Co. Antrim showed two Samuel Davey/Davys. One was in Carrickfergus and the other was in Dobbsland townland Kilroot civil parish. Since you posted in Kilroot, I assume the second was your ancestor. I checked the 1901 census for Dobbsland and Samuel was there. He said he was a retired farmer. I also found a civil death index record for a death in 1908 and then a civil death index record for Agnes Davey in 1894. (see below).
