Seeking information re William Keating (b. unknown) and Margaret Lockwood (b. unknown), parents of William Keating (b. circa 1851) and Margaret Keating (b. circa 1852) and emigrating to North America 1853-1854. Family was possibly from Derryginagh, Bantry.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

    There are two online sources for Cork records, generally divided between north and south. Have you tried searching either of these sources as yet for William and his family:

    Irish Genealogy (a free site):http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/

    Roots Ireland (a subscription site): www.rootsireland.ie

    You can of course also use familysearch instead of rootsireland.ie

    There is a baptism record for a William born to a father William and a mother Margaret in Cork in 1841. There are also two potential marriage matches for William and Margaret on that site in Co. Cork in 1833 and 1836

    As there are so few, it might be a good idea to have a look or you may be able to locate them on familysearch
