Hello, Researching my husbands Irish lineage, on his paternal Grandmother side.

Patrick J Sullivan born March 1835, Cork County, Ireland-do not know his parents

Patrick immigrated to USA in 1835  Died-Jan 2, 1895-St Louise, Missouri, USA

Married Marry Murray Sullivan, I have 2 dates, 1853 or 1869 in USA

Marry Murray Sullivan born Nov 1835, Glamorgan, Waterford, Irelan

Immigrated to USA 1846, she was 11 yrs old. Died-1900, St Louise, Missouri, USA

Have a conflict of Countries where Mary has lived.  Info states born in Cork County, Ireland, & also lived in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.  Do not have info on her family.

Looks like they had a few children in Wales, if I followed the right parents.

Ellen Dear (sullivan) & Catherine Sullivan, birth about, 1860 & 1857.

My husbands lineage is, Michael Sullivan, born Dec. 11. 1859, Died Dec 13, 1937, in St Louise, Missouri, USA, his daughter Anna Magdalena Sullivan 1889-1965, married Charles Stanley Earnhart 1884-1966, from Lebanon, Ohio, had Charles Stanely Jr,1918-1999, who is my husband Paul Robert Earnhart, born, 1954, father who was born in St Louise, Missouri.

Here in the US there are alot of Patricks & Mary Sullivan to follow.  I do subscribe to ancestry.com

Hope you can help me trace Marry & Patrick's parents, TY, Frances Earnhart

  • Hi Frances

    www.irishgenealogy.ie/ (a free site) has 5 baptism records for Patrick Sullivan 1835 Cork but none is in March

    There are 4 in March in 1834 & 1 in 1836 so I don't know how to work out which is yours.

    There is 1 for MARY Murray but none for Marry; it is 12th July 1835 in Murragh Templemartin Cork

    None of Patrick's records are from that parish but as they married in the US it doesn't matter. www.rootsireland.ie/ (charges) has no Marry records but 8 in Waterford 1835 & 1 in Cork;

    it has 17 for Patrick in Cork 1835; second initial (J) doesn't seem to help!
