Researching family of Ann Griffy,born b1833, daughter of William and Mary Griffy, nee Maloney. Anne married Martin Connell in 1852, emigrated to Australia in 1854 with children listed as Michael (5 ?), Martin (2) and Patrick(9 months). Witnesses at wedding - John and Mary Lyons.

The records for Doora-Barefield parish are not online at this time. (They start in 1821).
The National Library plans to put all RC parish registers online for free searching in the summer of 2015.
I checked the Griffiths Valuation head of household for the three civil parishes in the area: Doora, Kilraghtis and Templemaley. There were no Griffy records but there were some Griffin records. Possibly the family name was Griffin?
