I live in Canada and am searching for information from Ireland about Peter Brennan. Born in 1812 at Limerick, Ireland. I do not know any specific Parish. His wife was Mary Dee, born 1829 at Limerick, Ireland.
They emmigrated to ontario, Canada approximately 1847. They had 2 children, James and Lawrence while living in Canada.
The family moved to Minnesota, USA about 1853. There they had 9 more children.
Mary Dee died in 1880 at Lakeville, Dakota, Minnesota, USA.
Peter Brennan died at St. Paul, Minnesota in 1897.
The information I am looking for is speciffically as follows:
1. To confirm that this Peter Brennan was born in Limerick.
2. Who were the parents of Peter Brennan, when / where they were born, and also when / where they died.
3. Who were the parents of Mary Dee, when / where they were born, and also when / where they died.

Many of the RC parishes outide of Limerick city do not have records back to 1812. I searched the Roots Ireland indexes and could not find a Peter Brennan baptism in Co. Limerick from 1807-1817. I also could not locate a Mary Dee/Peter Brennan marriage in the 1840s.
On the other hand Roots had a lot of Mary Dee (or variant spelling) baptismal records. There were 16 records from 1826-1832 with a total of 4 in 1829. Without knowing the parents names you can't determine which may be for your ancestor.
