Hi,
I am looking for Mary Kelly born approx 1830. All I know is that she was born in Easkey Co Sligo and moved to Dunnington in Yorkshire sometime before 1851 as she is on the census for Dunnington for that year. She married Peter Hasty but I do not know where or when. She gives her birthplace on the 1861 census as Easkey Co Sligo. Not sure if anyone can help or point me in the right direction but any advice/help would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Hello again Jo,
Unfortunately, RC records for Easky parish do not begin until 1864 so a baptism record for Mary Kelly would not be available.
There are Kelly Tithe Applotment records for Easky civil parish (1833 and 1842) at www.titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie
Possibly Mary's father is listed on the Tithes.

Thank you - that's what I thought. Thank you for the connection to the Tithe Applotment records - I am sure that one of them would be her father but no idea how to find out.
