My Grandmother was Jane Quin, born in "Cork" in about 1865, father was Richard Quin. She married in England in 1889 ans the certificate says that she was 24. In a cnsus in early 1900 she is quoted as being born in Chelmcford.
Help greatly appreciated.

My grandmother's marriage cerificate, 12 dec 1889, gives birthplace as Cork. She then moved to England and in the 1911 Census gives birthplace as Chelmsford. was there such a place in cork or was she giving wrong info - perhaps fear of admitting Irish birthplace?
