Looking for info re Elizabeth Ferrie born circa 1850, married William McGlynn, lived in Falcarragh

    I found a 1901 census record for an Elizabeth McGlynn who was a widow with three children. Is this your family? I did not find her in the 1911 census. I also located a possible civil death index record in early 1901 which means he died around when the census was taken. I also found a 1924 civil death index record for an Elizabeth McGlynn. Not sure if this is for your Elizabeth. See records below.

  • I think their marriage was registered in Dunfanaghy Jan - Mar 1878 Vol 2, page 89. Bride?s name was Elizabeth Ferry. If you get a copy of that certificate it should give you additional information eg fathers? names, occupations, townlands etc.
