I am looking for information about the family of my gr-gr-gr-gm Catharine Cleary who was born in Nenagh c.1814. The family were Roman Catholics. In a 1825 sampler, Catharine has her father dressed in a military uniform with epaulets and holding a sword. I do not know the names of her parents, but found a Patrick Cleary b. 1787 in Nenagh who enlisted in the military in Nov 1804. Any information about her family is greatly appreciated. Catherine married William Sheehan in Bruff, Limerick in 1836. Thank you.

Thank you so very much for the information. Interesting that Catharine's grandson Peter Spillane married a Moloney in the USA. Probably not a direct relation to the Mary. Molony mentioned on the gravestone.
