My grandparents were married in Ballymoe in 1911. My grandfather's dad was Thomas Tobin and his wife was Bridget Nee, born c. 1847 and c. 1852, respectively.
Are there still Tobins and Nees in the area?
Has anyone info re Thomas' and Bridget's families?
Many thanks.

Francis:
The Tobin family lived in Ballyglass South townland in Kilcraon civil parish in northeast Co. Galway. Below are the 1901 and 1911 census records for the family. Note: The surname was incorrectly transcribed as Tolin in the 1911 census. I also located the 1872 civil marriage index record for the couple. You can get a copy of the record from the General Register Office for around 4 euros. The record will show the names of the fathers of the bride and groom and where the bride and groom were living in 1872. Let me know if you want to get a copy and I will forward instructions.
I also looked at the 1856 Griffiths valuation head of household listing for Kilcraon parish (link is below the index record). There were no Tobins or Nees in that parish in 1856.
Let me know if you have questions.
