John W. Enright (also known as John E. Enright, but his grave is marked John W.) was born 24 June 1814 in Co. Limerick. He died 30 Sept 1891 in Austin, Mower Co., Minnesota.
His parents are said to be Patrick Enright and Bridget Ahern both born circa 1780. I have no record of their births, marriage, etc.
The Enrights had Trehy cousins, some of whom emigrated to the U.S. also and lived in Wisconsin. John settled into the Milwaukee area where he met and married Margaret Rose Frings, a German immigrant. He soon moved to Highland, Iowa Co., Wisconsin, and from there, to Austin, Mower Co., Minnesota. John's brother (?) Thomas Enright b. Ireland 1810, died 24 March 1883 Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. John's sister Bridget Enright, b. 1810 in Ireland married Michael O'Brien, born in Limerick in 1808 and they lived in the Detroit, Michigan area.
There were also two Enright brothers to these named Richard Enright and William Enright. I believe I have found William. Family letters state he moved to Missouri and I find a William born in Limerick in 1819 and died in Catawissa, Franklin Co., Missouri 11 Aug 1884.
That's a long road around the fact that I am searching for the parish they came from in Ireland. I am hoping that someone knows of these Enrights and can help out! I am attaching a copy of John's obituary if that is of assistance.
Thank you.

Susan:
I checked the Roots Ireland indexes and located an 1815 baptismal record for a John Enright with parents Patrick and Bridget. The record was in the Mahoonagh/Castlemahon RC parish records.

Hi Susan, I have extensive details of the descendants of Bridget Ann Enright who married Michael Trehy. Their son Michael moved to New York circa 1900 and married Anna Sheehan. Visit my www.trehyforum.com website and contact me from there.
