Researching my great-great grandfather Robert Drury (1812-1898) son of Anthony Drury and Catherine (maiden name unk.) (1788-1865).
He was born in Nantinen and emigrated with his mother and sister to Ontario Canada in 1842 where he set up a harnessmaking business in Almonte Ontario. He was a prominent member of the local Methodist church.
Really would like to find out his mother`s maiden name, Anthony`s relevant dates, or any other info possible.

Hello Col,
Yes I had seen those. The birth record is correct but I don't beleive the marriage one is them. Even on Robert's sister Catherine's birth record (1823) it lists Anthony as her father.
I am also assuming he had died since he didn't come to Canada with them in 1842.
I don't know what other resources there are for Nantinan searches.
Ron
p.s. see attached pic of Robert Drury's harness shop in Almonte Ontario in 1866, I beleive that is him on the left
